This Week’s Top News Related To Medical Marijuana

From the past few years since the whole let’s legal, medical marijuana spree of Trump started, MMJ is in the news. Every week we see new bills and new laws coming in power. As a result, things are changing so fast that it is hard to keep tabs on all of them. And obviously, we all do not have the time to keep on hopping from website to website for gathering information. Working on the same vein, we put together what all happened in the medical marijuana industry and make this blog.

An NYC Student is Arrested in Russia For MMJ

Yeah, so a student that as per news agencies is the resident of New York has recently been arrested in Russia. Audrey Eliza Lorber is under arrest for carrying 19.05 grams of medical marijuana with her. As per Russian laws, possession of any kind of marijuana is illegal. The American college student was taken under arrest when Airport authorities were searching her belongings at the Pulkovo airport. As per the statement by St. Petersburg court system, she will face a trial for carrying and smuggling banned substances in Russia. Mind you; medical marijuana is not legal at the federal level in the United States Of America. Consequently, MMJ is just legal in some 33 states; when the US cannot make it legal in the whole country, how can we expect other countries to make exceptions to do it?

The First Dispensary In Cincinnati Suburb

Good news for people using medical marijuana in Cincinnati, as the first-ever dispensary is coming in the act from September 11th. The name of the dispensary is The Verilife medical marijuana. You can find it in Columbia Township. If the local reports are accurate, Verilife is selling, various brands of MMJ, the vapors, edibles, tinctures, oils, and vaporizers. Ohio law is still against anything you can smoke for marijuana, so be alert on that. Recreational use of medical marijuana is illegal in the state. Thus, patients with valid medical marijuana cards will get MMJ.

Virginia School Nurses Can Give Students MMJ

A few months back, Virginia passes a bill that powers up the school nurses to provide students MMJ but never reaches the ground. Just like the rest of the United States of America, the medical marijuana situation is muddy in this state too. Media reports are claiming that the government will take some time to regulate this rule; most probably by the end of this year. Virginia is the fourth state in America to empower school nurses by giving medical marijuana to the students.

Maryland’s Medical Marijuana Industry Expanding

On September 14th, 2015, medical marijuana was decriminalized in Maryland, and four years later, September 11th, 2019, industry is more significant than anything. The medical marijuana industry has grown so much that most growers have doubled the cultivation. And this is not it if the recreational marijuana managed to pass in then, farming will go up by three folds. Industry kingpins have predicted that the medical cannabis industry would gross more than $96 million in sales by the end of this year. No wonder everyone is trying to invest in this market.

To Sum Up

All right, so these were four main news to hit the headlines with the topics medical marijuana in the middle.

Medical marijuana is still a growing business, and the government has to expand it, as they do not have any money.

Trump’s own businesses are dying, and America it seems will not be great again at any time soon.

It is given that for at least seven more years, medical marijuana and recreational marijuana business will grow in all the capacity.

So, are you thinking about making an investment in this thing or not? If not, please go for it and make millions.
